DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE: EXPLORE THE DEBUT RECORD FATAL BEAUTY
Today is the day: New DataFile act HAPPY DEAD RABBIT defies Corona with the release of their fine debut record FATAL BEAUTY. Still the global Corona crisis still affects us and the release a bit as it won't be available at streaming services around the world before 24-April-2020. But you're welcome to buy it here in a 24-bit audio version (flac) exclusively four weeks before official release! Still the question is now begged: What is Happy Dead Rabbit? Why is the rabbit dead? And why does being dead make it happy? Questions upon questions and no easy answers. Only one thing is clear: The enigmatic name stands for a collective of musicians that has set out to bundle crea-tive energies across Germany from the North Sea coast to the German capital. HDR started out as a conventional band formed by Joerg Abendroth (keyboards + programming), Thomas Sindt (guitars) and singer Pete Stohlmann (who receives a worthy commemoration in the song FUER DICH), but after his untimely death, it quickly evolved into an open project with the sole purpose of pursuing and creating inventive soundscapes. Abendroth and Sindt found fitting collaborators in vocal artist Marty Kasprzak (of Berlin-based Goth-Rock-veterans Sepulcrum Mentis) and producer Mirco Dalos for the formation of a sonic melting pot which is not reliant on the collaborators be-ing together in one location or even, in some cases, on having met in person. The results of this collaboration are now available on the debut album FATAL BEAUTY.

DE3IVAT COME FULL CIRCLE - AND HONOUR A FINE SELECTION OF GUESTS
DE3IVAT are closing their cycle of six digital eps with a decent bang! IMAGINED COMMUNITIES (title inspired by the book of the same name by Benedict Anderson) is let out to the world today. Voice and narration artists Heidi Juergens and Martin Heckmann crown ep-opener CLIMATE-CONTROLLED CONFLICT with understated virtuosity, juxtaposing what are the parameters of scientific working with self-proclaimed alternative facts. A visual accompaniment is being released January 2020 featuring the visual fine art of Susanne Moldt. drumpandoo guest on THOSE MADE RESPONSIBLE leaving DE3IVAT a rich treasury of sounds left over from their »Friendly Gravity« session, while piano player Christof Schlaak (eremitus of CMDR RIKR) laid beautifully minimal foundations for ECHELONS IN FEUILLETONS. Bringing the cycle to a close is the monolithic eight-minute A BLUE-BLOOD SPILLED SCREEN featuring inclusive music ensemble Bluescreen.
